Today I participated in the AFS Intercultural Fair. I thought this activity was boring before I joined the AFS Intercultural Festival, but I was wrong. This activity was more interesting than I expected.
Firstly, we arrived at our destination and then we went to the all to listen to the brief introduction about AFS. After we listened to the brief introduction, we went to different classroom to play games. The classrooms were represented different countries, for instance, Japan, Iceland, Nepal and Switzerland.
Secondly, we went to the Iceland classroom. The Icelander taught us a dance. The dance was easy and fun. Everybody could follow the Icelander to dance. The Icelander was very nice.
Next, we went to the Nepal classroom. We ate the local food and I learnt my English name in Nepalese. It is difficult to write. Most interesting is my male classmate to wear the Nepal traditional clothes. They were so beautiful.
In addition, we went to Switzerland classroom. We played the games. And the people there were kind. We took a photo with them.
Finally, we went to the Germany classroom. We learnt German. The teacher taught us simple words and difficult words.
After I went to the AFS Intercultural Fair, I contacted many foreigner, they are so kind and I loved speaking English and to talk with the foreigners.

I went to the AFS Intercultural Fair on November 29 2014. There were different countries booth to introduce the culture of each country, such as Iceland, Thailand, Germany and Nepal.
First of all, I went to Iceland’s booth. In there the Icelander taught me dancing. It's their traditional dance. It was very fun and interesting even though I felt tired after dancing.
Furthermore, I went to Nepal’s booth. Some local Nepalese taught me how to use their local language to write name. Also, they prepared some their local sweets. It tasted good. Moreover, I played with a ball which was made of rubber band. The rule was same as Chinese shuttlecock. We could not let the ball fall on the ground. It was very difficult to me as I played it at the first time. In addition, I tried the traditional clothes.
Apart from the Iceland’s booth as well as the Nepal’s booth. I went to Germany’s booth to learn German. It's interesting because they taught me some special vocabularies.
Finally, I believe it is a special experience for me. The Intercultural Fair not only broaden my horizon but also improve my communication skill. So I felt it was a good day.
