On 17th November, 2016, our school received a warm visit from teachers and students of Crest Secondary School from Singapore. 26 English Ambassadors from our school had an inspiring and fruitful day sharing Hong Kong culture and our school culture with them! 

At the newly refurbished English Corner, the English Ambassadors shared their school life and delicious local food of Hong Kong. In groups, they took the Singaporean students on a tour of the campus. To give the Singaporean guests a taste of Chinese culture, the English Ambassadors also organized a variety of activities for them, such as Chinese calligraphy, Chinese paper-cutting, playing Chinese chess, making maltose crackers and local music appreciation. It was such unforgettable fun for all! What was more, the Singaporean teachers and students enjoyed tasting the ‘siu mai’ and egg tarts we offered. Lastly, the English Ambassadors brought them around in the neighbourhood. It was a valuable opportunity for our students to gain cultural exchange experience and sharpen their English communication skills.
